Robert "Bob" Furney, 67, of Gladstone, Missouri passed away on March 4, 2023, unexpectedly from complications of pneumonia. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado to Lloyd and Lucy Furney on September 1, 1955. Bob retired from Union Pacific Railroad, 2015.
Bob is survived by his wife Rachelle; his beloved pets Puff and Buttons; his sister Theresa Furney; his brother Terry (Jerri) Furney; his sister Patty (Darryl) Dunnington; his sister Kathy (Frank) Holland; his sister-in-law Marqueta (Edwin) Brown; his sister-in-law Kim Kinder; many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents Lucy and Lloyd Furney and his brother-in-law Raymond Kinder.
Since Bob was so proud of serving in the Army, he will be buried at Leavenworth National Cemetery, on Monday, March 13 at 9am, following the service there will be a fellowship at the Bob and Rachelle's home.
