Graveside services are expected to be held in the spring/summer of 2021, after COVID concerns. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Bob was born to Donald G. and Violet F. Amos on September 5th, 1953 in Plattsburg, MO. He attended Plattsburg High School where he excelled in baseball. Bob would go on to serve 2 years in the U.S. Army with AIT training in Mobile, AL and was then deployed to Berlin, Germany where he would be involved with bomb disposal during the Cold War era. Bob met Jeana in 1971 and they would soon marry and remain together for the next 48 years. Bob spent over 35 years as a heavy equipment operator and was known for being quite the storyteller along with being an avid pool player and HS/college wrestling fan. Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He leaves behind his wife, Mary R. (Jeana); two sons, Robert B. (Robb) and Timothy P. (Tim); brother Jerry L.; one grandson, Robert B. E. (Bert); a best friend, Elton Ditto and his brothers in-law Jim, Ray, Larry and Joe Bliley whom he had made extremely close connections with over the years. Bob, we will miss your stories, tricks and your love to see others happy from your contagious humor.
