A Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday Dec 11th at White Chapel Funeral Home in Gladstone, MO from 2-6 PM.
Nancy was born in Kansas City on Oct 17th, 1958 to William F and Shirley Alice Schuh as the youngest of three children. She worked at Colgate Palmolive until the plant in Kansas City closed. She then went back to school working towards a social work degree. She spent several years at Habitat for Humanity – Kansas City helping deserving people get into homes. After a brief retirement she went back to work at Argosy Casino.
Nancy enjoyed travelling. She skied the Rocky Mountains with her children and spent time in the Pacific Northwest with her brother. She traveled across Europe on river cruise ships.
She loved spending time with her friends. She was a regular for “Girls night” and Taco Tuesday’s and was always ready to lend a hand or an ear to a friend.
She was a devoted mother and a phenomenal grandmother. She was a stabilizing force for her family and had a positive impact on everyone she loved.
She cherished spending time with her grandchildren - whether going to the zoo, the swimming pool, the parks, or just having a campout in her living room, Nancy prioritized spending time with her grandchildren over everything else.
Nancy is survived by her brother Toby, her children, Cameron and Lucas as well as Cameron’s wife Julia and her four grandchildren, Reece, Margaret, Theodore and Delilah.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Shirley and her brother, David.
