Moretha "Marie" Dickey-Bailey

Moretha "Marie" Mae Bailey, 81, of Edwardsville, Kansas was sent home on May 9, 2018. She was born March 12, 1937 in Samsel, Missouri to Lee and Mary Green. Moretha was youngest of six children. During her life she was happiest taking care of children, and fostering a number of children. Moretha was a humorous and well-loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed embroidering and playing games with her grandchildren.

Moretha is preceded in death by her husband Charles "Junior" Dickey, granddaughter Brandi Marie Gonzalez, both parents, her siblings, and two nephews.

Moretha is survived by her daughter Morinda Lynn Gonzalez, six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren: Phillip Michael Gonzalez, Jeremy Allen Gonzalez and daughter Auroura, Christiauna Renee Gonzalez and her sons DeClain, and Torren, Sierra Elaine Beary and her daughters Angel, Courtney, and Alyssa, Hayley Amber Parker and children Adriyanna, Emilio, Marcelino, daughter-in-law Bunny Ann Green, grandson Alijah, granddaughter Kelly Renea Bailey children Caleb, Adriana and Avery.

Family will receive visitors on Tuesday, May 15 starting at 1 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home.
