Millie Louise Colvin, 92, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away February 5, 2016. She was born April 19, 1923 in Woodbine, Kansas. She married Jack Colvin May 20, 1951 and moved to Kansas City. She was employed with Sears Roebuck for more than 20 years. She volunteered for over 10 years at the non for profit, Nearly New Thrift Shop. She was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Millie was preceded in death by her son, Jerry, her parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, two sons, Michael (PJ), Philip (Vickie) and daughter-in-law, Donna, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9th, from 6-9 and service on Wednesday, February 10th, at 9:30 at White Chapel Funeral Home. Entombment will immediately follow the service in the White Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Millie’s name be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2003 NE Englewood Rd., Kansas City, MO 64118.
