Margaret was born on July 20, 1944, to Paul E. and Wilma Grace (Waddell) Cannom in Kansas City, Missouri. Margaret graduated with the Class of 1962 from North Kansas City High School and then would go on to graduate from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1967 with a degree in Physical Education; she went on to complete her master’s degree in education.
Margaret enjoyed many professions throughout her life however, she was especially proud of her 20-year career as a Director of Volunteer Services with M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston, Texas.
She had many hobbies in her life including running a half marathon and was a devote Baptist in faith. Margaret was very adventurous and traveled extensively in her life.
She was extremely proud of her niece and great niece and great nephew and treasured their time together and being a part of their lives.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marilyn Allen (Rhoden).
Survivors include her niece, LeAnn Kazan; great niece, Nicole Kazan and great nephew, Zach Kazan.
