Linda Kay Pittenger

Linda resided in Kansas City, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents (Roy and Elizabeth Bebout), two brothers (Jerry & Jimmy Bebout), her son (Martin Stevens) and her husband (Will Pittenger). Linda is survived by 3 daughters, Pamela Carr (Aaron), Lori Zimmerman (Herschell) and Donna Hutton, a daughter-in-law (Kathy Cordell), 9 grandchildren: Dominique Clark, Jordan Swarts, Ian Carr, Nicole Eckert, Dylan Kinder, Taylor & Derrick Zimmerman, Elizabeth & Madelyn Cordell, as well as 3 great grandchildren.

Linda attended school in Hamilton, Missouri and later attending business classes in St. Joseph, Missouri. After she had moved to Kansas City, Missouri she worked for a clothing company, Mobil Oil, Price Chopper, and Sun fresh Grocery stores as well as the Kansas City Police Dept, from which she would retire in 2009. She also attended Northmoor United Methodist Church.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren while they were growing up. Whether it was playing ball in the yard, taking them to church or hosting sleepovers. She would also spend her time watching the Kansas City Royals, bowling, solving puzzle books, listening to country music or her favorite, watching the Game show network. Linda loved dogs, her grandkids say she always had a dog living with her.

On Monday, July 3, a Visitation for Linda will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00 PM. A Graveside Service will immediately follow, all at White Chapel Funeral Home and Cemetery 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri 64119
