Lillian Lopez

She was born on June 18, 1947 in Camporeale, Sicily the daughter of Vincent and Fina Donze. She immigrated to the United States in March 2, 1963 to start a new life in Kansas City. She began her career in the garment industry at Youth Craft and continued her passion by owning her own business, LLL Alterations.

Her other passion was to continue her mother’s Sicilian tradition of the St. Joseph Table for the past 29 years, where she devoted her time sharing her faith in St. Joseph. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and was the life of the party.

She is survived by husband, Jimmy Lopez Sr., daughters Gina Cascone Shatto (Leroy), Fina Cascone Jones (Brock), Janel Lopez, son Jimmy Lopez Jr. (Gina), seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, sister Phyllis Donze Giaconia, brother Salvatore Donze (Judy), and many nieces, nephews, uncles, and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her father Vincent Donze, mother Fina Donze, son John Cascone, and brother-in-law Angelo Giaconia.
