I just started as a package handler when I first meet Ian. Ian was known as the guy to go to for anything and I was always happy to see him walking around my area. One time while working, me and him bonded over MTG. He was super excited to talk about the card games he played the night before and it was very cool to meet someone else that shared my same interests. The next day I decided to give him a rare card at work and I could tell it made his day. The next week he told me about how he used the card to win a game and I could tell I gave it to the right person. Even though I only knew him for about 3 weeks, I will greatly miss him. He was truly special. 

So I needed help painting my barn. Ian was great. Then I was getting ready for a barn sale and Ian helped. We had a great time. I could see his creativity spilling over in many ways. We talked about life, relationships and everything in-between. I am sad he is in another place. So very sorry for the family's loss.

Ian had such a big heart and love for people.  He always made me feel welcome.  His love of family and friends was evident in everything he did.  Love his big smile as he walked his Grandma to her seat at Shelby and Josh’s wedding.

I am so grateful Ian came into my life for a brief moment, I’ll never forget the confidence he taught me, confidence to laugh even when life wasn’t very bright, and confidence to be unapologetically yourself even when you may feel insecure. I remember Ian just wanting to be happy in life, and everyday no matter what, he made happiness happen. I am so happy to see he found someone who he found love with, like I said, his heart was gold, and my deepest condolences go out to those who loved him.  

I'll never forget when I realized I had fallen in love with Ian. When we first started dating, long before we lived together, he used to pick me up in his car and we'd cruise around the back roads, listening to music and talking about the world and everything in it. We had no destination, we just wanted to be with each other for a little while, completely enthralled with one another. It was on one of those days, when we stopped by his house afterwards to have a little fire. It was a beautiful summer night. We were laying down in the driveway, looking at the stars, and listening to our favorite songs. Laying there with him without a care in the world, I thought to myself "I never want this to end." That was when I realized I was completely, deeply, and irrevocably in love with Ian. I still feel that way 3 years later. The adventures never ended, and neither did that thrill of being in each other's company.

Ian I’ll never forget all the memories we made in Elementary school, Middle school, Jr. High school and High school. You always were the life of the party and lifted the spirits of all those you came in contact with. You will be missed and still very loved. Rest easy brother.

Brina blossomed with Ian by her side. We are so lucky they found each other. We will never forget when he came over to ask for her hand in marriage. He was so nervous, it was cute. We will miss him, especially screaming in my microphone at the lake😉❤️
