Frank S. McFadden Jr. Frank S. McFadden Jr. formerly of Kansas City Mo. departed this world to be with his beloved wife of 73 years Grace on July 8th 2016. Born in Des Moines IA., Sept 1, 1923 to Frank and Della McFadden. Frank was a World War II Veteran serving from 1941 to 1945. He received the Purple Heart, Phillipine Liberation Ribbon with 1 bronze Star , A Bronze Star and a Good Conduct Medal. After the war, he moved his family to Kansas City Missouri and joined the VFW Post 2211 where he served in all the offices including Post Commander. After retiring from the Kansas City Star in 1988, Frank and his wife Grace moved to Barnett MO where he belonged to the Senior Citizens Club in Versailles. Frank is preceded in death by his parents Frank Sr & Della McFadden, wife Grace (Cox) McFadden, 1 Son Franklin F. McFadden, 3 daughters Della McFadden, Jacklin Mack and Lona West, 5 brothers, Roy McFadden, Raymond McFadden, Abner McFadden, Thomas Arnold Good, Richard McFadden, ; 9 sisters Donna Baker, Irene Duncan, Vivian Monning, Alice Pinegar, Ellen Green, Valda Folsom, Charlotte McFadden, Aria Good, Alberta Hall. Survived by his children Laura McPherson Kingman AZ, Patricia Alano Barnett MO, Pamela (Robert) Short Gladstone Mo, Hope (Richard) Yaw Des Moines IA, Kip ( Sandra) McFadden Barnett, Mo, Linda (Brian) Lisle Riverside MO, Kelley (Vic) Altieri Sandy Springs GA, 29 Grandchildren, 84 Great Grandchildren, 77+ Great Great Grandchildren as well a 1 Brother John (Betty) McFadden of Kansas City Mo and 1 sister Anna Borges of Calif. Along with a multitude of other Family & Friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday July 13th from 6-8pm, Services Thursday 10am at D.W Newcomers White Chapel, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone MO 64118. Interment immediately following. The family would like to invite you to a Celebration of Life pot luck picnic following the interment at Oak Grove Park 1-4 pm, 7600 N Troost, Gladstone MO. 64118
