She was born October 17, 1957, to Bernard “Bernie” and Dixie (Seichepine) Craig. She graduated from Washington High School in 1975. She worked for 30 years as a data processing financial manager for DST Systems. Debra married Wes Spain on July 17, 2014, in Naples, Florida which was one of her favorite vacation spots besides going to the lake with her girlfriends. She loved spending time with her kids, family, and the many friends she gained throughout her life. She loved her home and all of her friends in the Brooktree Neighborhood. She served on the HOA board for Brooktree for two years. Deb was always the life of the party, whether at the pool, lake, or throwing her Kansas City Chiefs game watch parties at the 4032! She was a great woman that touched and helped so many people throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her Father Bernie Craig.
Debra is survived by her Mother, Dixie Craig; Husband, Wes Spain; Daughter, Stephanie Medina (Dan Medina; Son, Craig Lamphear; Sister, Deanna Garcia (Joe Garcia); Sister, Diana Taylor; Niece, Andrea Hudgens (Clayton Hudgens); Niece, Stacy Kennedy; Nephew, Aaron Garcia (Taylor Garcia); Nephew, Andrew Wahl; Niece, Shelby Wahl; Grandson, David Medina; Grand-Dog, KC.
A Visitation for Debra will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. A graveside service will then follow, all at White Chapel Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri 64119.
