Danny S. Sloan, 63, Kansas City, MO passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017, in Kansas City, MO. Danny was born August 14, 1953 in Cameron, MO. He worked at Missouri Department of Corrections for 21 years and a was Case Manager II. He also served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He obtained his Master's Degree from Northwest in Maryville, MO. He was an educator and principle at West Nodaway. Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Marjory Swindler Sloan, and father, Dan E. Sloan. He is survived by his wife, Connie Sloan, and son, Daniel Sloan. Services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at White Chapel Funeral Home, located at 6600 Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119. There will be a visitation at 9:00 a.m. before the funeral. Danny’s family would like to thanks his friends that are like family at the department of corrections.
