Mr. Weikel was born on February 2, 1949 in Shamokin, PA the son of Earl and Edith Weikel. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He loved woodworking and enjoying the outdoors.
Survivors include daughter, Jodi Weikel and her two sons, Travis Weikel and JT Weikel; son, Chris (Sara) Weikel and their son, Kaien Weikel; and sister, Sis Gressner of Shamokin, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Laura Weikel.

A memorial graveside service with military rites will be held at 2:45 PM on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at White Chapel Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at the home of Jodi Weikel.
