Barbara Jean Walton

Barbara Jean Walton, 81, died peacefully on March 1, 2022. Barb was born on April 25, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to Lela and Melvin Walton. Barb graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1957. She retired from Pacific Mutual Door where she was an Executive Secretary. Barb will be remembered for her dry wit and style. She never missed a family get together, always bringing her traditional pickle and olive tray 😊. Barb was very close to her parents and immediate family and had many friends. In 2020 she moved to Assisted Living and enjoyed her time there, making new friends, participating in activities and where, since Covid kept her from going out, she taught herself online ordering. She was the Matriarch of our family and will be missed.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Lela and Melvin Walton.

Barb is survived by her many cousins and their children.
