Dennis Guy Murray

Guy was the beloved son of Obediah and Doris Murray and was born on October 31,1953 in Glace Bay, NS.

He is survived and will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 32 years, Marie, his two sons whom he adored, Devin Murray (Laura) Fort McMurray Alberta and Brian Murray Calgary Alberta, sister whom he cherished Mabel Murray, mother-in-law Elaine MacDonald, special sister-in-law Jeanie, brothers-in-law Art Mercer, Glen MacDonald (Lynette), sisters-in-law Viola Murray, Debbie Simms (Mike), Mary Lou Proulx, Joan Lahey (Mike) and a brother John.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother Josh, sisters Mona and Donna and his father-in-law and best friend Jack MacDonald.

All those that knew Guy will remember his hearty laugh, his love for his family and his helping hand.

In following Guy’s wishes cremation has taken place, visitation will take place on Tuesday Jan.5,2016 from 12-2pm in Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St Glace Bay. Funeral service will follow at 2pm in Patten Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to take place at a later date.
