Allan Attwood

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Allan was born in Glace Bay.

He lived most of his life in Scarborough ON with his wife Grace and children and then retired to Cape Breton.

He was the son of the late Wilfred "Dope"and Christena "Tena" (MacDonald) Attwood. He had a love for sports and played hockey and baseball for many years, always making friends along the way. He was a kind man always full of wit and charm, his smile was infectious and he was alway trying to get a laugh out of you with that famous wink. One of his greatest accomplishments to him was his family, he loved them dearly and taught them to not take one day for granted and always be humble because you "never know what's around the corner".

Allan is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Grace (Nearing) and children, Leanne and Natalie and Grandson Justin sister, Audrey (Jim Blacklock) brother Tommy (Joan) Attwood as well as many nieces and nephews that loved him

Allan was predeceased by his parents sister Ann Nicholson and Phyllis "Sister" (Donnie Macleod)

He will be missed by many and cherished forever in our hearts, fly with angels Daddy.

There will be no service at this time until our family can gather and say our goodbyes together.
