I wish I could be there today. My love to Uncle Don, the family, and Uncle Bill. He always tried to make me laugh and always succeeded. He had so much character and such a sharp wit. I'll miss his stories and the rabbit holes of completely random knowledge. As a kid, I found he made everything less boring. I am thankful for all the fun memories. Take care, fam.

Hard to come to terms with knowing I will never get to see or hear Uncle Bill’s voice again. I have so many memories of him over the years. Memories of him playing with us kids, laughing and telling funny stories. Memories of him watching and obsessing over Alabama football. I’ve come to realize he’s probably the reason I became such a huge Alabama Crimson Tide fan. That influence has passed on to my stepson Brandon, and nephew Keenan, who now attends college at Alabama. I actually have been fortunate enough to visit the campus a few times, and every time I’m there those memories pop up. 
I will hold dear the last time I got to see Bill. We had some great conversations that I will remember the rest of my life. But mostly, I will remember his smile.

We lost you too soon. There were memories to still be had. I wish it could be like it was when I was young and we came to stay with you and Grandma. We’d get up and eat breakfast together (always with drop biscuits and corn syrup) and usually talk for a while and you would stand there talking and throwing a coin, with exact precision up and down catching it, while we all talked. Then the girls would go to town shopping while the guys watched football.  And sometimes we’d go to Shirlands Lake. Life is hard and people do what they have to  to cope. I wish our lives stayed as tight always but you will always be in my heart. I’ve prayed for you so much through the years and missed you. Love you! 

I had two brothers and I really wanted a sister.  For nine months I prayed for a sister and then out comes the cutest little baby brother, Bill.  I found myself thinking he was mine.  Bill was very witty and stubborn but I will truly miss him.  I think of him as being on vacation and we will see each other soon.

Bill, i will miss you brother. I hope and pray that you are now at peace. I know you heard my voice and felt my hand  in yours. I do hope you understand that YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY LOVES YOU before  

















It was an exciting day when Bill come into our world. He was the little brother that kept everyone on their toes.  Always active and on the run.  You could see him coming down the street from a distance with his white hair shinning in the sun.  

I can remember sitting with Bill watching his favorite football team,, Alabama and how excited he would get especially when they played Auburn.  

It is a sad day to lose a brother.   Let us pause in life's pleasures and count it's many tears hard times come again no more.
