A celebration service will be held at a later date for her.
She was born February 3, 1936, in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Robert and Gervaise Lamb. Her father was a cook in the oilfields. Her mother was a seamstress and bookkeeper. They lived in the panhandle of Texas most of their lives.
Patti loved to sing in church and at school competition.She could be found at the roller rink on Friday nights dancing around the rink and trick skating with her partner. Patti was married to James Cain in 1953 and they had a daughter. Patti went back to school and graduated in 1956. After graduation she married Ed Fleming and she, Ed and Debra traveled with his job for Gulf Oil.She was a friend and encourager to many in their oilfield crew and those she met on their travels.
Her high school sweetheart, L. D. Moore came back into her life 19 years ago and they were married. Patti’s dress looked like it came out of a fairy tale and she wore ruby gemstone slippers. They have traveled, laughed, joked and enjoyed each others company. L.D. always said when he looked at her he saw that cotton headed girl of long ago and fell in love all over again. Theirs was a lifelong love.
Her interests included family, knitting, sewing, reading and working on the computer. She was devoted to family and her Chihuahuas.
Patti is survived by her husband L.D. Moore, her daughter Debra Fleming, her grandson Chase Lutke and many friends in Liberty Hill, Texas, the USA and around the world.
