Lester "Tony" Anthony Raum

Lester Anthony “Tony” Raum was born January 16, 1945, in Taylor, Texas, the son of Maggie Pearl and Lester Otto Raum. He passed from this life at the age of 76 on Friday, November 12, 2021, in his home in Georgetown, Texas. With him at the time of his death was his wife of 51 years, Faye Raum.

Tony worked for Austin State Hospital until his retirement. His interests included watching Nascar racing with his friends, riding on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and boat racing, enjoying anything to do with speed. Every Saturday he would go to the Harley Davidson shop to watch the Harley’s roll in and out. Tony was a rodeo bull rider in his younger days. His greatest life’s pleasure was his family, enjoying spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids, and also his dog, Harley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving family members include his wife; his children, daughter, Kerrie Renee’ Knauth, and son, Nicholas “Nick” Keith (Laurie) Raum; stepson Gary (Rebecca) Menley; grandchildren, Cameron (Jennifer) Knauth, Kassidy Knauth (Cooper) Owen, Tristan Raum, Trevor Raum, Brandon Menley, Makaela Menley, Kaylee Knauth, and one great-grandson Walker Owen.

A visitation for Tony will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Georgetown IOOF Cemetery, 1117 E 7th St, Georgetown, TX 78626.
