Kathy loved crafting, she especially loved making cards for people, and helping her young cousins Emma and Honey make cards. She loved flowers and especially roses which she had planted outside her apartment. Kathy had a deep abiding love for all animals. One of her favorite things was going to zoos, especially ones that had baby animals. And she loved her Catahoula hound Callie.
The family expresses their special thanks to the staff at Bel Air Skilled Nursing facility and to the wonderful people associated with St. David's hospice, especially Sharon Schaffer and Roxy Bush for their compassion and care.
A visitation will take place Saturday, November 4th at 9:00 at Cook-Walden Davis funeral home on Williams Drive in Georgetown. The memorial service will begin at 10:00. Internment will immediately follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
Kathy loved flowers but she also loved animals. If you would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, please choose a worthy animal rescue, sanctuary, or zoo conservation of your choice in Kathy's name.
For those unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed at https://youtube.com/live/hPbc6uBI5Lk
