Kathleen (Kathy) Heidebrecht, age 60, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2014 in Georgetown, Texas. She was a loving wife, an amazing mother, and a devoted grandmother. As a selfness giver, Kathy was always thinking of others and putting them before herself. She always considered it her right as a grandmother to spoil her grandchildren, and often said, “What happens at Grandma’s house, stays at Grandma’s house.”
Kathy enjoyed gardening and baking for family and church events. She also enjoyed fishing with her husband Ron, and having her children and grandchildren over often. She loved her home in Georgetown and especially feeding “her deer” off the back porch of their home.
She was a committed Christian and a faithful member of Grace Fellowship Church. Kathy thoroughly enjoyed worshipping the Lord, and loved the Scriptures. Being a Christian was something she took seriously, and she wanted her life to count for Christ. No one was a stranger to her, and she always reached out to everyone, no matter who they were.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father Phillip Moore, her mother Charlotte Moore, and her beloved son Brad McDaniel. She is survived by her husband, Ron Heidebrecht of Georgetown, Texas; three daughters, Jennifer Carney and husband Mika of Kyle, Texas, Jen Gonzalez and husband Josiah of Chanute, Kansas, and Bethany Witten and husband Matt of Georgetown, Texas; one son, Jedidiah Kenny of Lakeway, Texas. She was a loving grandmother to eleven grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Mike Moore of Hillsboro, Oregon and two sisters Sharleen Boss of Fresno, California and Sandra Moore of Santa Cruz, California.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Grace Fellowship Church in Georgetown, Texas with Pastor Jack Ender officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.
