Gerald Conrad Worley

Jerry was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 14, 1939, to parents Allen Lee Worley and Ruby Irene (Brizendine) Worley. He grew up in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Houston. Jerry’s career choice was in medical marketing.

He leaves behind his wife Carol Jean (Whaley) Worley whom he was married to for 64 happy and loving years; his son, Kenneth Wade Worley and wife Teresa Lynn Worley; three grandchildren, Todd Anthony Worley and wife Ann, Jennifer Lynn Moran and husband Brian, Erin Amelia Roberts; five great-grandchildren, Isaac Liam and Gillian Elizabeth Worley, Maddox Lynn and Jackson Wade Moran and Iris Amelia Roberts; his brother, Allen Lee Worley, Jr., and wife Carol Joy.

After traveling abroad extensively, he and his wife retired to Georgetown, Texas in December of 2002 from Houston. Jerry was interested in ministering to new Christians and was active in many other church activities. He and Carol were members of First Baptist Church in Georgetown and most recently attended The Worship Place in Sun City. Jerry spent many enjoyable hours reading on his back porch or walking the trails in this beautiful area, watching the birds, deer and butterflies. You could always expect his yard to be nicely manicured.

Graveside services will be held Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, 1117 E 7th Street, Georgetown, Texas 78626.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Limestone Baptist Church, 17905 Sterling Robertson Dam Rd, Thornton, TX 76687 for Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.
