Charlotte "Sherry" Ann Orford

Sherry passed from this life January 1, 2022 in Round Rock, Texas at the age of 80. She had lived in Georgetown for the past 7 years, moving here from Pearland, Texas. Sherry received a Bachelor of Nursing in 1983 and worked as an LVN in the Galveston and Houston areas. She enjoyed reading and trying her hand at the casino. She also liked to take cruises whenever she could. Thanks to technology she was able to stay in contact with her friends from everywhere. Once moving to Georgetown she was able to spend more time with her sister, & she welcomed new friendships with a group of ladies that she referred to as her “hill gals” family. Also, she became everyones “grandma” in her daughters neighborhood. Sherry was happiest no matter what she was doing as long as she was doing it with her family and friends.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Raymond E. Orford. She is survived by her children, Terrie Lee Schuenemann and husband Charlie (Junior) and Belinda Marie Proctor and husband Richard; grandchildren, Kevin Parlo, Angela Parlo and Ciara Proctor; great-grandchildren, Jessica Joplin and Reese Baker; and sister, Janet Marie Platteborze.

A Celebration of life service will be held Sunday, April 10 at 4:00 pm at 1601 Forest Street, Georgetown, Texas. Bring your best memory of Sherry to share with family and friends.
