Bob J Hanson

Bob Hanson, Age 91 of Hutto, Texas passed away on March 3, 2021. Bob was born August 7, 1929 in Baird, Texas to Jimmy and Lois Hanson. Bob served in the Korean War as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne in the early 50’s. Bob worked for his uncle J C Evans after returning from Korea and then was self-employed the remainder of his life in many successful businesses. Bob was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Hanson, mother Lois Evans Hanson, sisters Polly Bezner & Gladys Carter and his brother Morris Hanson.

Bob’s biggest enjoyment was watching his kids in sports, racing cars & playing music. He also enjoyed Volleyball with his nephews after work, family reunions where he could play Dominos and always living by his own rules.

Bob is survived by his wife, Betty Stewart Hanson and 5 children: Cole Hanson of Austin, Wendy Keith and husband Greg Keith of Georgetown, Texas, Holly Crain of Hutto, Texas, Clay Hanson and wife Dee Hanson of Round Rock, Texas, Krystal Hanson of Hutto, Texas and 3 grandchildren: Kolton Keith, Skylar Crain and Brandon Pratt.

The family will hold a private service at the Family Cemetery in Lakeway, Texas. A special thank you goes out to Krystal Hanson who was his caretaker in the last stage of his life.
