Virginia H. Willis, age 88, of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024. Virginia was born in Gastonia, North Carolina, on October 28, 1935 to the late John and Winnie Huffstetler.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy Willis; grandchildren, Jamie Willis, Kyle Willis, Dawn Sawyer, Leigh Carter Schmitt, Chad Freeman and Kim Terrell; great-grandchildren, Kaytlynn Carter, Jameson Willis and Kloe Willis. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ted J. Willis; sons, Neal, Mike, Eddie and daughter, Kim Carter.
A funeral service for Virginia will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park, 2205 Williamsburg Dr., Gastonia, NC 28054. Interment will immediately follow after the service.
A memorial service at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Hwy 90 Little River, SC 29566, will be held at a later date that is to be announced.
