Thomas Christopher O'Neil, age 73, passed away on Wednesday ~ April 24, 2019 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Thomas loved to sing and record his music. He was a kind, generous and encouraging man. Thomas founded O'Neil paving company and remained active throughout his career. He loved antique and muscle cars. Thomas was an amateur photographer and was a former member of the Pearl of the West, Masonic Lodge in New Port Richey, Florida. He is going to be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Those left to cherish Thomas's memories and carry on his legacy are his daughter and son in law: Annie and Daniel Owens; two sons and daughter in law: Tom O'Neil, John and Skylar O'Neil all of York, South Carolina; five grandchildren: Alexis, Kaytlyn, John Robert, Christian and Brooklyn.
A Life Well Celebrated Ceremony will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday ~ April 30, 2019 in the Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina with Reverend Randy Madsen delivering words of comfort and hope to Thomas's family and friends.
A private entombment will follow the service.
The family will receive guests from 11:00 AM ~ 12:00 PM prior to the service.
Thomas's family wishes to thank Barbara O'Neil, Pat Elliott and the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House for the kindness they have shown to their father.
