Steven “Scott” Cline went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday October12, 2023. Scott was born July 18, 1962 in Gastonia. He is the son of the Kathleen (Long) Cline Young and the late Jennings Cline. Scott loved the outdoors. He loved to fish and take care of the birds. He also enjoyed the beach and working in the yard.
In addition to his father, Jennings Cline, Scott is preceded in death by his two older brothers, Bill and Jeff Cline, whom he loved dearly and missed every day of his life.
Scott is survived by his mother, Kathleen (Long) Young, stepfather, Keith Young, stepbrothers Keith Young, Jr. and David young as well as several caring cousins.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
