Shirley Moran Kallam

Shirley (Moran) Kallam, 76, of Gastonia passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Hospice of Gaston County attended to her in her last days. Shirley was a chiropractic assistant at the Bradley Chiropractic Clinic. Shirley liked to travel. She also enjoyed shopping – especially clothes shopping. She was best known for her devotion to her family. She enjoyed spending time with them and they, and all that knew Shirley, will dearly miss her.

Shirley was born in Reidsville, NC to the late Nancy (Martin) and Carson Moran.

Left behind are her husband of 58 years, Thomas Kallam. Missing their mother are her daughter, Teresa Molby and her husband Jeff and her son Todd Kallam and his wife Tara. Shirley’s legacy includes four grandchildren, Taylor (Kallam) Gillis and her husband David, Sydni Kallam and her significant other Chris, Andrew Molby and Will Molby and two great grandchildren Joseph Brady and Remi Gillis.

A graveside service with committal will be held at 10:00 AM in the Garden of Valor at Gaston Memorial Park, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia. Pastor Odey will offer words of encouragement and hope to all those that knew and loved Shirley.
