Leonard Lee Ewing

Leonard Ewing was born in McAdenville NC to Amos Osborne Ewing & Mary Eva Huffstickler on September 11, 1928. He went to school in McAdenville, NC. He married Lorene Luffman on October 15, 1950 in Wilkes County, NC.

He lived a full life, he loved his family and made sure we all were taken care of. He was most proud of raising his family and we will truly miss him.

Leonard is preceded in death by his wife Lorene Luffman Ewing with 67 years of marriage. His parents, and siblings, James Osborne Ewing and Margaret Elizabeth Campbell.

He is survived by his daughter, Rosa Lee Ewing Queen (Buddy) of Mt. Holly; sons, Jerry Lee Ewing, Danny Ray Ewing (Cathy) of McAdenville, NC: grandchildren, Tammy Barker Schweitzer, Crystal Barker Heafner & Bobby Ray Ewing. Three Great Grandsons and Three great great grandsons and one great great granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Schweitzer, Charlie Heafner, Jeremy Barker, Jason Armstrong, Colby Barker, Dylan Heafner and John Overman.

A graveside service will be held for family and friends at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Gaston Memorial Park.
