Elizabeth Naomi Thomas Bean

Elizabeth Naomi Bean, 88 went home to be with her Lord, October 15, 2015. She was born November 13, 1926 in Gaston County to the late John and Lena (Cagle) Thomas. Elizabeth will always be remembered for her love of dancing. She and her children and second husband Tom wore out many rugs as they danced. She loved the Lord, her church, traveling with church friends and most of all loved to laugh and talk. She knew no strangers. Her other love besides family was shopping at Hamricks.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three children, Michael Kinlaw and wife, Delorise of Gastonia, Janice Daniel and husband, Lee of Gastonia, Linda Love and husband, Richard of Gastonia; seven grandchildren, Rodney Daniel, Tod Kinlaw, Kim Welch, Craig Kinlaw, Lisa Carr, Amy Daniel and Mandy Wall; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and her precious companion, Wendy, her Pekingese.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Frank A. Kinlaw and Thomas Bean and one sister.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 P.M., Monday, October 19, 2015 at South Marietta Street Baptist Church in Gastonia. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church.
