Thelma LaMoyne Cook

LaMoyne a resident of Warrior, AL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the age of 80. She was a member of North Highland Baptist Church and she loved the Lord and her family unconditionally and enjoyed all their time together.

She was preceded in death her brother, Barney Duke; sister, Alice Lee Thomas, and granddaughter, Amanda Kato. She is survived by her son; Barry Cook (Michele); three daughters, Patricia Collins (Perry), Robin Cook, and Sandy Burkett (Bill); brother, Bud Duke (Faye); sisters, Dorothy Alexander; sister-in-law, Betty Duke; grandchildren, Lindsey Harrington, Casey Dodd, Christy Mason, Hayden Cook, Sam Cook, Eric Collins, John Mark Collins, and Patrick Burkett; great grandchildren, Zoey Mason, Hadleigh and Harper Cook, MaKenna, Jillian and Tatum Kato, Saylor Trammell, Mac, Caroline and Parker Collins.

The family would like to thank the staff of Comfort Care Hospice for their care and support for LaMoyne.

Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Wednesday, Apr 26, 2017 with a visitation to begin at 1:00pm; funeral service at 2:00pm followed by her burial in Stewart’s Chapel Cemetery, Hayden, AL.Arrangements under the direction of Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, AL.
