Ruth Estell Howard

Ruth was proceeded in death by her husband of 66 years, George D. Howard, her daughter Rhonda Harding and son-in-law Joe Thomas.

Ruth is survived by her daughters: Beverly Davis (Jimmy) and Peggy Posey (Ted). Grandchildren, Dana Lowe (Henry Fayet), Scott Crews (Candace), Wes Harding (Jennifer), Chris Thomas (Mary), Will Harding (Lauren), Brooke Christmas (Kyle); 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Ruth was a longtime member of North Gardendale Baptist Church. She had a great passion for raising flowers of all kinds. She had a love for her family and friends like no other. While her husband was alive she and him loved to travel with their camper around the country.

Arrangements provided by Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel are as follows: Viewing Monday December 6 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Tuesday December 7 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with Funeral service at 2 with graveside to follow at Moncrief Cemetery, Gardendale, AL.
