Ruby Imogene Stubbs

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray Stubbs; parents, Ivory Clayton Campbell and Lillian Pearl Savage Campbell; daughter, Deborah Diane Moss; 3 sisters, Clercy Christalene Campbell, Mary Cathelene Campbell and Ruth Louise Campbell; 2 brothers, John Payton Campbell Eldridge and Howard Clendenon Campbell; granddaughter, Sandra Renee Moss Ayers and by grandsons, Charles Ray Moss, Jr and Christopher Ray Stubbs.

She is survived by son, Terry Ray Stubbs (Tracy); daughter, Rettia Mellia Wiggins; son, Michael Ivory Stubbs and brother, Clayton Eldridge Campbell. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Stubbs worked for Jefferson County School System for 33 years.

A visitation for Ruby will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Glennwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Morris.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Ayers, Clayton (Bo) Campbell, Tommy Stubbs, Justin Steinert, Kenny Herring and Charles Thomas.
