Peggy A Pelkey, age 88, of Warrior, Alabama passed away on Wednesday January 4, 2023 in the care of her grandson and his wife (Tyler and Shelby Pelkey). She was loved by many friends and family. Peggy was a major part of the Warrior senior center; where she was a member and also worked for many years. She attended Unity Baptist Church. Peggy was a selfless person and always put the needs of others before her own.
Peggy is survived by her step son Craig Pelkey; and her step daughter Michelle Branem; her grandchild Tyler Pelkey, her grandchild Paytton Mayo, her grandchild Todd Pelkey, her grandchild Jordon Pelkey and her grandchild Michael Lowe, Jr..
Peggy was preceded in death by her son Mark Pelkey, her son Tommy Lowe and her son Mike Lowe.
A visitation for Peggy will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Peggy will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071-2374.
