Mary Alice Wisdom of Hayden, Alabama passed away at her home on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the age of ninety. She was preceded in death by her parents Boyd Eugene Ulrich and Rose Robinson Ulrich of Ohio along with nine siblings and her granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Cameron of Trussville.
She is survived by her husband of seventy two years, Charles Wisdom; her children, Ava Cameron (James), Elzie Faulkner (Tommy) and Boyd Wisdom. Others left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Joel Faulkner (Kisha), Daniel Faulkner (Becky), Anna Beal (Aubrey), Erin Cameron (Daniel Rhodes), Austin Wisdom (Carla), Haley Magazino (Peter); great grandchildren, Kaleb, Hunter, Isaiah, Kaylee, Camryn, Jaelyn, Addison, Joel Jr, Ada, Jayden and Isabella.
Mary was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church of Hayden. She was an avid reader, loved sewing, quilting, gardening and cooking along with being an artist. She had a notorious wit. But most of all she loved her husband and family and was loved by them. She will be so greatly missed,
A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Magnolia Hall Chapel at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Mary will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071.
Her pallbearers will be Aubrey Beal, Isaiah Faulkner, Joel Faulkner, Kaleb Faulkner, Hunter Hays and Daniel Rhodes.
