Mary Catherine Carroll

September 25, 1927 - October 11, 2024

Longtime member of Pineywood Baptist Church.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years James Mason Carroll and her son, James Glen Carroll.

Catherine is survived by her daughters, Marcia (Bob) Tucker, Becky Cook, and Lynn (Rickey) Herring and daughter-in-law, Wanda Carroll; 12 grandchildren, Christy (Brian) Stiffer, Heather (LT) Schroeder, Leigh Ann (Devin) Wilson, Justin Cook, Jonathan Cook, Catherine (Matt) Cain, Amanda (Eric) Gilley, LaDonna (Chris) Baggett, James (Jessica) Carroll, Charles (Simone) Carroll, Jamey (Brad) Hollifield, and Adam Herring; 18 great-grandchildren, Tucker and Eli Stiffler, Mason and Beckett Schroeder, Jordan and Marleigh Wilson, Chay Cook, Brayden, Jackson, Grayson and Colton Cain, Amelia and Everette Baggett, Jameson Carroll, Mya and Wyatt Carroll, and Reid and Walker Hollifield.

Services will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a time of visitation, Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm; visitation Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 1:00pm; funeral service at 2:00pm followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL. Rev Steve Baccus officiating.
