Margaret Evelyn Dean

Margaret was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be greatly missed. She was a member of Gardendale Baptist Tabernacle.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Maudie Creel; husband, Harold Dean, a son, Mark Anthony Dean; two brothers, Vallie Creel and Bud Creel; two sisters, Gracie Fell and Irene Smith and a son-in-law, Robert Whitton.

Margaret is survived by a son, Rickey Dean (Marilyn); two daughters, Marilyn Whitton and Melanie Watkins; one brother, Bobby Creel; four grandchildren, Anthony Dean (Catherine), Cameron Whitton, Brandon Whitton, and Johnny Sego; four great grandchildren, Kallie Whitton, Mason Whitton, Alex Dean, and Summer Dean; one great-great grandchild, Bailey Knowles; and many extended family members and a host of friends.

A celebration gathering for Margaret will be held Monday, November 15, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, officiated by Pastor Andrew Peters.

Margaret will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens - Mausoleum, Gardendale, AL.
