Linda Kay Waugh

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Beatrice Faye Hallmark; her son, Gerald Allen Waugh and sister Peggy Hallmark.

Survivors who are left to cherish her memory are husband of 56 years, Allen Waugh; son, Rodger Dale Waugh (Tonya); daughter in law, Melanie Waugh Claussen and grandchildren, Brandon Vann Waugh (Lesleigh), Christian Waugh (Molly), Peyton Waugh and Brenton Waugh; sisters, Diane Spruiell and Gloria Bates; a host of nieces and nephews and her beloved bird Alf.

Linda was a gifted artist, loved gardening and caring for all animals. She was an active member of the Oak Mountain Wildlife Rescue.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed.

A visitation for Linda will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel in the Fireside Parlor Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Rd, Gardendale, AL 35071.
