Joyce Horsley Ragsdale, age 86, of Morris, Alabama passed away on Thursday April 18, 2019. Joyce was born November 18, 1932. Joyce was born to Julius and Malissa Horsley. Mrs. Ragsdale was preceded in death by her beloved husband James H. Ragsdale Sr. Survivors include her son Skip Ragsdale (Renee) her daughter Tracey Moody McGraw, and her sister Dorothy Carlisle. Grandchildren include Bo (Jennifer) Ragsdale, Jodi Ragsdale Barnes, Kristian Moody, Ty McGraw. Great- Grandchildren include Camryn McGraw, Caise McGraw, Ella Ragsdale, Charlee Ragsdale and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life visitation for Joyce will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life service will occur Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
