Jason Adam Carpenter was a caring husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Jason was born on March 27, 1978 to Linda (Bailey) Morse and Mack Timothy Carpenter. Jason passed away on October 11, 2021 at the age of 43 in the loving arms of his devoted wife, Jennifer after fighting a courageous battle against Covid-Pneumonia.
Soon after graduating high school in 1996 from Fairview High; Jason started working for Southern Company on February 2,1999 and worked his way up through the company to his title of Principle Systems Operator, and has been with them for 22 years of service. Jason took pride in his job and has accomplished several achievements and certifications within the power industry. Co-workers have described him as a dependable go-getter, with a great attitude and uplifting spirit.
Jason was passionate about spending time in everything he did with his wife beside him. He spent time daily with his brother-in-law Lukas enjoying video games online. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, cornhole, bowling, and travelling. Jason loved planning family trips to give his kids new experiences and making memories. He was a huge Alabama Football fan.
Jason is survived by his wife, Jennifer; two sons, Ryan and Calum; one daughter, Katelyn; his father Mack, five brothers, Jim, Kyle, Jason P, Bubba, and Patrick; and two sisters, Kim and Krystal.
