Janice R. Scott

Janice Ray Scott, formally of Sparta, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab, Hanceville Alabama. She was born January 30, 1934 in Sparta, WI to Owen and Fern (Dickensen) Brockman. She graduated from Sparta High School 1951 and attended WWTC La Crosse. She was united in marriage to Robert A Scott September 20, 1961.

Jan worked for the Federal Government both in the US and Europe, for approximately 30 years. She was a member of the RLDS Church in Sparta for most of her life where she enjoyed playing the piano and organ as well as being choir director. She and Bob enjoyed traveling as well as spending time with family and their many friends.

Jan is survived by her brother Jack A. Brockman, Anchorage, AK.

Children: Debbie Watson (Ron) Tomah, WI; Dennis Johnson (Laurie) Silver Lake, KS; Kelley Scott (Beverly) Highland Village, Texas; Sean Scott (Tracie) Warrior, AL. As well as 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Jan is proceeded in death by her husband Robert A Scott, parents Owen and Fern Brockman and sister Mary Lee Treat.
