James Nelson Foster

James served in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves and he retired from ABC Coke in Tarrant after more than 40 years of service. He loved the outdoors, and cooking for his family and friends. He was a passionate Alabama fan, and his favorite saying was "Roll Tide."

James was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Ilene Foster; (step-mother) Myrtle Foster; and his brother, Jerry Foster.

James is survived by his daughter, Lisa McGuirk and her husband Tim McGuirk, his sister, Jo Beasley and her husband, Doyle Beasley; his sister-in-law, Wanda Foster; three grandchildren, Abbigail Wheat, Zoie McGuirk, and Chelsie McGuirk, several other family members and many friends.

Celebration of Life Services for James will be held Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, AL with a time of visitation to be at 1:00 PM; funeral service at 2:00 PM, followed by his burial at Liberty Minter Cemetery, 1990 Self Creek Rd, Morris, AL.
