Kilgore, Jack T., of Gardendale was born in Jefferson County on October 25, 1931 and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the age of 81. He was retired from the City of Birmingham after 35 years of service. He was a member of Christway Church of God in Gardendale. He also was a 50 year member of Brooklin Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Doris Kilgore; two nephews, Keith Davis (Cheryl) and Kenneth Davis (Karen); great nephews, Robert Kilgore Davis and Michael Davis.
Visitation will be Monday, January 14th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 6 until 8 pm with funeral services Tuesday at the chapel beginning at 2:30pm. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Fred Bryant officiating.
