Jack Truitt Hale Jr.

Jack proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for many years. He was a loving and devoted father and a caring brother whom loved his family dearly.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jack, Sr. and Amy Bryant Hale; his wife, Patsy Hale; a daughter, Jackie Gillesby; and a grandson, Savonte Simpson.

Jack is survived by two sons, Don Hale and Jack T. Hale III; one daughter, Sherry Hale; one granddaughter, Kayla Simpson; two sisters, Karren (Kay) Moorhouse and Teresa A. Hale, both of Tennessee, and several friends.

A visitation for Jack will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 18, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
