Frances McKay Smth, age 82 of Gardendale passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010. She was a member of Shades Mountain Independent Church and several area antique car clubs. Her son, Tommy Smith preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Harry C. Smith; daughters: Sharry Nail (Sam) and Patti Bragan; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; sister, Edith Morgan; brother, Earl McKay. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
