Eloise Bankston Rouse

Eloise Bankston Rouse, age 87, of the Corner Community, was born on July 14, 1929 and passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017. Eloise was a long time member of the Lord’s church, worshipping at the Antioch Church of Christ.

Eloise is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Cora Bankston; her daughter, Janet Scott and her daughter-in-law, Sandra Rouse.

Eloise is survived by her husband of 69 years, William E. Rouse; brother, Phillip “Buddy” Bankston; sons, Gary Rouse (Judie) and Johnny Rouse; daughter, Laura Glover (Terry); son-in-law, Everett Scott; eight grandchildren, Matthew Rouse (Candice), Nickolas Rouse (Jennifer), Neely Dean (Devin), Jennifer Hight (Jimmy), Bradley Glover (Jessica), Brian Glover (Hailey), Benjamin Glover and Blake Glover; and eleven great grandchildren, Rebekah Dean, Ashley Rouse, Camilla Rouse, Hannah Dean, Victoria Rouse, Peyton Rouse, Andrew Rouse, Brianna Hight, Weston Glover, Clara Glover and Bentley Glover.

Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, Monday, June 12, 1:30-2:30pm; funeral service at 2:30pm. Interment will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
