Donald, a resident of Gardendale passed away at the age of 70. Donald loved spending time with his grandchildren that he loved dearly. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and a big Alabama fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Cara Harbin; sister, Pauline Westrup and one grandson, Dillon Harbin. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Vicki Harbin; two sons, Steve Harbin (Suzanne) and Geoff Harbin; brother, Zeb Harbin; sisters, Ruth Cook (Marshall) and Barbara Lane (Jimmy); grandchildren, Shelbi, Payton, Katie and Skylar Harbin; mother in law, Dot Smothers and sister in law, Sheree Smothers. Visitation will be held on Friday March 11 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 PM at Walkers Chapel Memorial Gardens.
