In her earlier years, Christy attended the CP Center and Burgett Center in Birmingham, where she participated in physical therapy. She also attended Tarrant Middle School and High School where she was loved and cared for by her teachers. She will be missed, by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her dad Steven Swtzell. She is survived by her loving mother, Melissa Swatzell; sisters, Rhonda Bellew (David) and Alice Maddox; nieces and nephews, Amber, Benjamin, Travis, Daphanie, Gracie and Evelyn; aunt, Rachel Jordan and a host of loving cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23rd at 2:00 p.m. in Cluster Springs Cemetery in Gardendale. Rev. Ricky Willingham will be officiating. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel.
