Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother Willie James Robinson was born on January 10 1956, in Uniontown, Alabama; to the late Spencer and Hannah Robinson. Willie Robinson, was a resident of Columbus, Ohio, and departed this life on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at his residence. He was the sixth oldest of seven children.

He was preceded in death by his father, Spencer Robinson and mother, Hannah Robinson, three brothers, John, Elvert and Henry Robinson, one sister, Lizzie Lee. Father-in-law, Rev. Adolphus Smith and mother-in-law, Alma Howard Smith, brothers -in-law; Walter Howard, Bennie Smith, Melvin Forge; sisters-in-law, Alberta Fikes and Mary Smith; great-granddaughter Harminee Robinson.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, his loving and devoted wife, Pearl Smith of 22 years and together for 44 years., two handsome sons, Willie Robinson Jr. of Detroit, Michigan and Rachod Smith of Columbus, Ohio, two beautiful amazing daughters Laveta Robinson-Simmons of Detroit, Mi, and Vershanna (Henry) Loman of Columbus, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. One brother Walter Robinson and one sister Katie (John) Delaney both of Columbus, Ohio, Four brothers-in-law Adolphus Smith Jr., Dondi Fikes, Fondell (Delois) Smith and Charles Smith all of Selma Alabama; five sisters-in-law, Lillie (Basil) Jones of Brooklyn, New York; Beatrice Forge of Prattville, Alabama; Brenda (Woodrow) McCants of Selma, Alabama; Subrenia (Jerry) Andrews of Prattville, Alabama; and Alethen (Kevin) Ward of Lewis Center, Ohio; one brother-in-law Dondi Fikes of Selma, Alabama and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation for Willie will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230 immediately followed by an 11:30 AM funeral service. Following services, a procession to Franklin Hills Memory Garden, 5802 Elder Rd, Canal Winchester, OH 43110 will take place for a 2 PM burial.

A repast will occur Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 3:00 PM, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230 following services.
