Susan Ruth Wille

Susan Ruth (Morrison) Wille died June 6, 2023 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, The James Hospital, Columbus, OH. Born June 23, 1944 in Lynn, MA, she was the daughter of Howard and Barbara (Belyea) Morrison. Susan graduated from Greenfield, MA, high school, attended U of M Amherst, and then served 4 years in the USAF.

She worked in the medical field in Toledo, OH, and earned a BSN at the U of Toledo. After 4 years on the staff of Toledo Hospital, she attended the Medical College of Ohio (Toledo) graduating with a MSN in Psych/Social studies and then taught in the nursing program at the U of Toledo.

It was not all study and work. There were RV trips from the east coast to Yellowstone, the MI lake house with appropriate water toys, and a warm pool in the backyard. Another passion was pulling weeds from the flower gardens.

She is survived by husband James Wille, three brothers, Richard (Pat) Morrison, Howard (Pat) Morrison both of Greenfield, MA, Barney Hallowell (Christie) of North Haven, ME and many nieces and nephews.
